Its wonderful location only 5 meters away from Historical Downtown and 100 meters away from the Central Square "José Martí", offers the chance of getting in contact with the ancient city and its great colonial architecture from past centuries in a couple of minutes. 

Our Hostel "Villa Colonial Frank and Arelys" is a beautiful colonial house built in 1879 keeping its original aspect in its interior and main facade. Its inner decoration suits its colonial style and gives the client an excellent comfort and absolute secured intimacy during all your stay. 

 

The Hostel "Villa Colonial Frank and Arelys" counts on a Hall, a large living room, a pleasant dining room for eight guests, two air-conditioned bedrooms (both with private inner bathrooms and hot / cold water 24 hours a day) and yard. We offer food service with creole meals 24 hours a day. We also offer cocktails and secured parking services. At your departure from our Hostel, we may coordinate (if you ask us to do it) your future lodging at any Hostel of our country as well as your comfortable transportation by taxi.

SPANISH  PRIVATE COURSE (Description)

Our academy is placed just one block away from the Central Square in Remedios and the site is a classical living room of a colonial house from the nineteenth century with a lovely yard and charming antiques.

The teacher is 31 year old local and a university graduate in foreign languages. He is trained in Translation, Interpretation and Teaching.

Our course consists of a complex of lessons which combines listening, grammar and oral practice. Manuals, dictionaries or texts are to be provided by the teacher. After every hour, a brief pause of five minutes is taken. Flash memories might be brought to copy some of the teacher’s teaching aids or dictionaries.

For those who take our service for two weeks, we cover the following contents:

-Información Personal/ Personal Information

-Grados comparativo y superlativo/ Comparative and Superlative Forms

-Dar direcciones/ Giving directions

-Presente Simple/ Simple Present Tense

-Verbos modales y volitivos/ Modal and Volition Verbs

For those who take our service for more than two weeks, we add the following contents to the list given above:

-Futuro/ Future

-Pretérito/ Simple Past

-Voz Pasiva/ Passive Voice

Villa Colonial Frank and Arelys can organize Spanish lessons at a local private language school, with qualified language teachers offering individual tuition at any level from beginners. A study plan will be tailored to meet the needs of individual students and the time they have available. Staying at Villa Colonial with Frank and Arelys, and their teenage children, is very similar to a home-stay in other countries.
